Naples overview

Even though Naples is only the fourth most important economy in Italy, don't be fooled because it is definitely not fourth rate when it comes to tourist attractions. Naples has a long rich history of art, culture, music, and food. If you are looking for wine out of a box or pizza from Pizza Hut, Naples is definitely not for you, as the city takes great pride in its fantastic array of wines as well as being the birthplace of pizza. The art Naples is famous for is evident both in the museums and around the city, as the many of the churches represent different important periods of Italian art, including the Medieval, Baroque, and Renaissance. The city is also home to the San Pietro a Majella Music Conservatory, where you can take music lessons or explore the unique music museum found on the grounds.
