Pisa overview

It is hard to believe that a city could be famous for a poorly constructed tower, but Pisa is known all over the world for its famous leaning tower. Even though the city is most famous for a tower that is perpetually falling over, there are many other sights which are just as interesting. Pisa is located in Tuscany and contains a number of interesting architectural wonders that aren't falling over. The Piazza del Duomo, where the learning tower is located, contains many other famous works of architecture and art. If churches and architecture are not your thing then there are plenty of museums which showcase the art of the region, and of course Pisa, like all places in Italy, is famous for its food as well. The city loves its football and is home to a Serie B team in the Italian league.
